It felt like we had been uprooted from the earth and transcended to the heavens when our bodies met. It did not matter if there was fire raging against our ankles or if the sea had swallowed us down. What mattered was that her arms had met mine and my Invincible Love had been found. All I could feel at that moment was pure exuberance in the fact that her existence was true.
When the time came that I was able to re- move my cheek from the crease between her neck and collarbone, my mind was obliterated by the bewitching grace of her face. My visions were pure, but far from the true awe her face dawned. My breath filled my chest as I took in her excel- lence, and I thanked the god I had prayed to for bringing me my Belle.
