Life Through My Eyes By Mia Brinton
Sudden rushes of emotion And sporadic deep thoughts Finding calm in commotion And untangling earbud knots
Smelling flowers when in sight And painting indigo mountains Feeling peace in the night And tossing pennies in fountains
Seeking poetry in the moon And brewing chamomile tea Humming the same tune And remembering the sea
Reading stories in the clouds And dreaming of France Excitement in big crowds And wanting to dance
Look through these glasses My life looks like this Little moments as it passes Overall, it is bliss.
