The Field of Sunflowers and Strawberries By Icelynn Frandsen
Inside me is
Sunlight and clear skies with
Wild sunflowers gleaming below them,
And an old yellow rusted Chevy parked alongside its dirt road.
Vast bright green pastures shining as the day comes to its end, And a bright dark orange covering the sky, to accompany The majestic essence of golden hour.
An open field with a light breeze,
And the sound of a beautiful strong violin,
As its player sits in a patch of sunflowers gleaming in their field.
A golden retriever running happily in the field he shares with the sunflowers, for he loves the sweet sounds of strings.
A patch of lucious sweet strawberries as they sit, watch, and wait to be discovered.
Inside me is a girl who burns with such a passionate flame for what she loves, though she is still sweet and bright like the field of sunflowers and strawberries.
Inside me is hope, love, light, passion, the sweet taste of strawberries, and a chorus of the many musics of the world.
