Mrs. Preshinger has been the most influential and supportive teacher I have ever had. Her constant positive attitude and warm energy create the perfect learning environment for anybody curious about literature and creativity. In my freshman year, I had experienced a heavy amount of loss,
and I became a shell of the person I once was. Had it not been for Mrs. Preshinger’s constant support; including giving me words of affirmation and allowing me to discover a coping mechanism through poetry, I would not have become as tenacious as I am today. I am forever grateful for the experience she has given me and will never forget the impact she has made on my life.
