Mr. Cummings was a principal dedicated to his job and would go beyond what was expected of him to help his students.
He taught me to never give up as he never gave up on anyone.
I was not an easy student to deal with during my Kindergarten year. I was in his office every day; there had to be times he wanted to kick me out or give up, but no matter what I would do, he would sit me down and explain what I did and why it was wrong and would come up with a way I could handle the situation again if I was faced with it. As a Kindergarten teacher, I hope I can help students at a young age learn what he taught me. I will forever be thankful for everything he did.
