On the day of my graduation from Montana City School, my educator, Mr. O’Connell, handed me an index card, sharing some provoking words. Mr. O wrote that I should never conform, adding that they ‘broke the mold’ when I was made. He also told me to never underestimate what I can do with my time. Since then, whenever I’m feeling pressure or having trouble with motivation, I just remember Mr. O’s words, and I know if he can believe in me, then so should I.
