When I moved to Helena my freshman year, I was constantly anxious and feeling like I was behind in my classes. Mr. Benson showed me that school was a place I could be welcome and involved. He introduced me to Outdoors Club, which led me
to a love of the outdoors and countless hours spent outside. When I didn’t have a friend on a hike or in class, he’d be the listening ear I needed. I’ll never forget his legendary power points or the impact he’s had on me!
