How much retouching should be done? Remember, with age comes experience, knowledge and skills. I will use great quality lighting, attering poses and I o er wardrobe plan- ning assistance to make sure you love your new professional images. We will discuss retouching and the amount desired.
Your photo is likely the rst impression you will have with your new prospective client. Your headshot should be current and showing you at your best. Your headshot is your brand - make sure it is sending the right message.
What should I wear?
A headshot mostly consists of your head and upper shoulders, so choose something that falls well on your collarbone and atters your neckline. You should look and feel comfortable in the clothes you wear.
Solid colors are usually better. Patterns and busy prints take away from your face. The same goes for clothing with big buttons or other features that might take away attention from your face. Avoid all white shirts unless wearing a jacket or sweater with it.
I suggest darker colors vs. lighter colors to put more emphasis on your eyes and smile, instead of your clothing.
Wear colors that are contrasting to your skin and consider selecting a color that can help to bring out the colors in your eyes. Avoid colors that are too similar to your skin tone, so you don’t appear washed out.
Layering looks best in professional images - I suggest wearing a jacket or sweater.

I understand that you may not like to have your picture taken.
