The Reality Real Estate
By Kay Rowe, HomeSmart Realty Group and Embrace Life LLC Enhance Your Home’s Curb Appeal!
There are dozens of small home improvements that you can do to enhance your home’s curb appeal. The added curb appeal not only makes it easier to sell, but also gives your house a nice and nished look in which you can take pride in.
Here are a few ways to spruce up the front:
1. Refresh Your Front Door. Your home’s front entry is the focal point of its curb appeal. Make a statement by giving your front door a blast of color with paint or by installing a custom wood door.
2. Update Old Hardware. A new door knob, house numbers and an overhead light fixture are all elements that can add style and interest to your home’s exterior curb appeal.
3. Install Lighting. Landscape lighting makes a huge impact on your home’s curb appeal while also providing safety and security. Light fixtures can add accent lighting to the house or can illuminate a walk path.
4. Renew Planter Beds. Get garden beds into shape by pulling weeds, planting flowers, and adding new mulch to restore color that’s been taken away by sunlight and harsh weather.
5. Display a Wreath. Nothing says “welcome” like a pretty seasonal wreath on your front door. Dress up your front door year-round with wreaths in a variety of fun textures and designs.
