Mothers and kids of all ages are invited to Mom Prom February 11 from 6-8pm at Douglas County Fairgrounds. The dance will have desserts, refreshments and wrist corsages included with ticket purchase. We will have a DJ and lots of decorations as well as crafts and games. The cost for this event is $25 per person. Register at right.

Bluebird boxes are located throughout Castle Rock. Volunteers of all ages are needed to monitor them. Come to the Informational Open House, Thurs., February 16 from 7 to 8 p.m. at The Millhouse at Philip S. Miller Park, 1381 W. Plum Creek Parkway.

Time to get your GREEN-ON at the premier Irish Celebration, the ShamROCK Stampede Sat., March 18 at the Douglas County Events Center including a 10k and 5k, FREE Kid’s 1k, Back to Health Expo and FREE Public Concert. Our mission is to elevate the celebration of St. Paddy’s Day with a family friendly Walk/ Run and Irish-themed festival to increase awareness and raise funds for organizations that help our veterans, rst responders, and others break free from PTSD and mental illness.
