NEED HELP eradicating your Myrtle Spurge?
Information provided by D.A. Beck, Castle Rock resident (Euphorbia myrsinites)
It does look pretty, but Myrtle Spurge is a List A noxious plant in Colorado targeted for eradication. It is considered poisonous and can cause severe skin irritation. If left to spread it will invade your landscape and smother your desired plants and grass. I have seen it in yards all over Castle Rock. Be cautious when handpulling, wear gloves, long-sleeves, shoes, and eye protection. Bag it for the trash. At left is a link to a 5 minute YouTube video with information on how to remove it safely... or call a local professional lawn care company.
