This month I’ll cover one of my favorites, Copaiba. I say that about a lot of these oils, but just can’t help loving them all!
Copaiba essential oil is distilled from the resin (sap) of a tree in South America. This oil is SO SO good for you, head to toe! I take a drop of the Copaiba Vitality (remember Vitality means it is approved for internal use) daily on my tongue or in my tea. Especially when I’ve been out enjoying the beautiful Colorado outdoors.
Copaibacouldhelpwithmusclein ammation. Thisoil has been used extensively by the indigenous people of South America and its many bene ts are being touted around the world. I suggest googling some of the bene ts to learn even more about this exceptional essential oil.
If you’d like a little scienti c information, copaiba pro- nounced CO-PAH-EEBA, is quite powerful, consisting mainly of terpenes, which are hydrocarbons that have signi cant e ects on the health function of your body.
For skin care, make your own DIY moisturizer or add to a skin moisturizer. Copaiba essential oil reduces the appearance of blemishes and promotes a healthy and radiant glow.
It can also be used as a light perfume! Copaiba has a nice light sweet woodsy scent. Add a few drops of a citrus oil and you’ll have created your own unique scent to wear for summer, instant WIN!
If you’d like to enjoy the bene ts of Copaiba internally, use our Vitality version and put 2-3 drops in a capsule to take internally. The Vitality oils are labeled as dietary supplements, completely acceptable for internal con- sumption. Copaiba is high in beta-caryophyllene and makes a great addition to teas such as chamomile. Google beta-caryophyllene, it will blow your mind!!!!
Keep it simple and just add 4-5 drops in your di user and you’ll feel like you’re in the middle of a rainforest. The best part is, you can experiment making your own exciting or relaxing blend. For starters, you can try one of my favorite blends.
