Avalon at Castle Rock
Recently construction has been completed for
the new apartment complex, Avalon Castle Rock
at The Meadows. Located at 4300 Swanson
Way, this modern rental facility o ers one- to
three- bedroom units ranging in price starting
at $1657-$2156 per month. Some units provide
stunning views of the front range. Even though
this complex has been open for about a year,
they are advertising that there are units available for lease. Currently they have at least 6 units available for immediate occupancy. This apartment community is conveniently located just a few minutes from the Castle Rock Factory Outlet Mall, numerous restaurants, and within walking distance of Main Street Castle Rock. It also provides easy driving access to Denver and Colorado Springs via I-25. Amenities include a tness center, outdoor pool, lounge areas, outdoor picnic areas with gas grills, pet park, and large clubhouse for residents and guests. Architectural design is consistent with Castle Rock’s Master Plan and long-term vision.
Canvas at Castle Rock
Developers plan to build a residential development complex at the north corner of Crystal Valley Parkway and Plum Creek. Canvas at Castle Rock is a proposed for-rent development consisting of 102 townhome units, a clubhouse/amenity area, and adjacent parking. The homes will be one- two story structures and con gured in four-unit buildings. Each townhome will have their own attached garage and private yard. This will be a large-scale, multi-family development intended to house families who may not yet be able to a ord a single family or townhome in Castle Rock. The Rental prices for these units have yet to be determined. Public hearings are currently being held to solicit community input. Construction for this project is anticipated to begin early Spring 2021.
Pioneer Ranch Planned Development
The Castle Rock Planning Commission has received a proposed planned development (PPD) for zoning that would allow up to 1,123 dwelling units, to include both single-family and multifamily along with 400,000 square feet of commercial/o ce space. This project would have 78 acres of open space and another 39 acres has been set aside for public land use. Pioneer Ranch is located just east of Interstate 25, north of Highway 86, and south and west of Founders Parkway. The parcel under consideration totals 388 acres of land. The current site plan for this planned community accommodates an array of lot sizes and home types, ranging from multi-family and paired homes,
