CASTLE ROCK ARTIST COOPERATIVE
The art scene in Castle Rock has been quiet for a couple of years now, but that’s all about to change. The Castle Rock Artist Cooperative — or CRAC for short — was formed last year as our town’s newest nonpro t to serve artists and the art community, and they’re already beginning to make a big splash.

ART IN THE AREA
CALLING ALL ARTISTS
for DLC’s 8th Annual PLEIN AIR EVENT
Are you a Plein Air artist or do you know one? You are invited to apply for a truly unique Plein Air painting event, “Capturing the Beauty of Open Land,” sponsored by Douglas Land Conservancy. A fundraiser for DLC, the event provides the opportunity for artists to paint on beautiful, private properties in southern Douglas County. These stunning conserved private prop- erties are rarely open for access to the public. Artists will have the opportunity to paint on location for a week, followed by a very special public art exhibit and sale at the White Pavilion in downtown Castle Rock.
In addition to providing a unique cultural expe- rience for Douglas County and the surrounding community, these events will allow attendees and loyal supporters to bring the beauty of Douglas County conserved lands into their homes and o ces as a reminder of why we live in Colorado.
We invite artists to apply for entry into this very unique Plein Air event June 26 & 27 at The White Pavilion in downtown Castle Rock.
