4-H Holiday Donation Drive – December 4 & 5
The Douglas County 4-H Youth Council is taking do-
nations of new winter clothing items for youth in need in Douglas County. Please join us on Fri., December 4th (5-8pm) and Sat., December 5th (9am–5pm) at the Douglas County Fairgrounds if you’re able to donate new children’s winter clothes and gift-wrapping materials for Douglas County children in need. Email for more information.
Holiday Light Show at PSM Park – December 3–19 Thursdays through Saturdays, drive through or take a walk through Philip S. Miller Park and enjoy some added holiday decorations to the already beautifully lit park. A food truck serving goodies and hot chocolate will be available to complete a night of family photo ops and a celebration of socially distanced community spirit and good cheer. See details here.
We Are Castle Rock Courthouse Rally – December 5 You’re invited to a “Courthouse Rally” to support Castle Rock. Many will be attending Sat., December 5 from noon–2pm. It’s “Tentative” at this point determined by what the Governor and County does, or does not do. Organizer, Gary Godfrey, is working on details along with back-end support from others. Let’s use our love for running and walking to put toys in the hands of many less fortunate children with the 12Ks of Christmas in December. Sign up individually or as a team and commit to running each of the 12 kilometer milestones.
