the weather. This year’s focus will be a tour of the Craig & Gould neighborhood in Castle Rock. Come learn about the history of our beautiful rhyolite homes. Meet at the Castle Rock Museum to board the trolley for the free tours. Tour times are at 9:30 am, 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 1:00 pm, and 2:00 pm and are approximately 45 minutes long. CR Historical Society Presentation – July 21
Join us on Thurs., July 21 for an engaging presentation by wildlife professional, Jeff Rucks. Colorado’s human history is closely tied to its wildlife history. Jeff will present interesting stories of how people have impacted wildlife and how wildlife have in uenced our history. Jeff is retired from Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Refreshments will be served at 6:45pm with the presentation beginning at 7:00pm at the Philip S. Miller Library, 100 S. Wilcox St. Castle Rock. The series continues with Nancy Wilson's Heart wih vocalist Kimberly Nichole and special guest Cari Dell. These ticketed music events at Philip S. A mystery “Who Done It” experience
This 21 and older event, this is an evening of fashion, suspenseful mystery with one thrilling conclusion, followed by games, a ranch-style live auction, music and dancing.
** High-heeled shoes NOT recommended. BOOTS encouraged!**
Cash bar and dinner served during the show. Drinks and dessert served throughout the evening. Please join us for this inaugural fund-raiser event, and help make our dreams come true.

Free Downtown Walking Tours – July 23
The Castle Rock Museum is giving free walking tours of downtown Castle Rock each month through September. Join us on July 23 at 10:30am. The 45-minute tour will begin at The Courtyard at 333 Perry St. and will conclude at the Castle Rock Museum, 420 Elbert Street. The tour will highlight the history of Castle Rock and its many historic buildings. The remaining tours will be on Aug. 27th and Sept. 24th. Reservations will be required.
