CRHS Cemetery Tour - October 2
Join the Castle Rock Historical Society Sat., October 2nd for a leisurely walk through historic grave sites in Cedar Hill Cemetery which was founded in 1875 and is the only cemetery in Castle Rock. It contains the remains of pioneers signi cant in the early history of Castle Rock and Douglas County. The tour begins at 4:30pm. Mayor Gray’s State of the Town – October 7 Live entertainment and scrumptious snacks will be served up ahead of the Mayor Jason Gray’s State of the Town update on Town accomplishments, Thurs., October 7th at the MAC Amphitheatrer, beginning at 5:30 p.m. His presentation is expected to end just after 6, but guests will be welcomed to linger and chat with Town leaders and staff about all that’s happening in Castle Rock. Bring a blanket or chair.

HRT's Safari Sundowners – October 14
On October 14 at 5:30pm, Highlands Ranch Travel will be hosting a “Safari Sundowners” evening with John Godfrey from African Travel. CR Historical Society presentation – October 14
Join us Thurs., October 14 for some lively story telling about cowboy life by retired local history teacher, John Berry and local historian, Ron Claussen. Can 10-gallons  t in a cowboy hat? Learn this and some other seldom heard stories of the life of the cowboy. Refreshments will be served at 6:45pm with the presentation beginning at 7pm at the Philip S. Miller Library 100 S.
