ICHRA stands for Individual coverage HRA. Ichra’s are a way to offer bene ts to any and all of your employee’s without the typical restrictions that come with traditional employer plans.
Do you have employee’s you would like to o er bene ts to but don’t think you can? Part-time employees? Seasonal employees? Even non-salaried or temporary employees for a sta ng  rm? Now you can. Setting up an Ichra allows you to o er health bene ts to any employee. There is no participation minimums or contribution minimums. An ichra allows  exibility to o er plans fromanycarrier. Oneemployeecanenroll in Anthem, while another chooses Kaiser. Employees can choose from di erent metal levels too.
Ichra’s can be paired with traditional employer plans. Individual rates tend to be less expensive than group rates. If you have employee’s waiving coverage due to cost you should probably look into this option. No group is too small or too large. Payments are pre-tax. Have older employee’s? Now you can contribute to their medicare premiums. The options are endless. The best part is an Ichra creates a special enrollment period so you can set it up any time during the year.
