CHAIRMAN'S NOTES

Two wins from two. Not a bad start to the season
here at Raynes Park Vale and a tribute to the
hard work put in by the team and management.
Raynes Park's playing style has certainly tak-
en a change and it's good to see. As, no doubt,
Josh Gallagher will tell you, it's a great feeling
when a plan comes good. Looking around the
club today that feeling is shared by everyone who is a part of this Raynes
Park Vale Football Club. Seeing the changes, that have taken place in and
around the stadium, seeing home and visiting fans alike enjoy what's
happening on the pitch and what's happening around the club. Seeing
the pride with which our team are taking in the shirt and the club. See-
ing the numbers arriving at the ground and enjoying everything that the
club has to offer. When these things are visible it makes all the hard work
worthwhile. And, as anyone in football at this level will confirm, there IS
a lot of hard work involved. Up and down the country teams like Raynes
Park and VCD, our visitors today, strive to bring high quality, passionate
football to football fans and, as chairman, I feel proud to see this club
          start to achieve its potential.
There are too many people doing too much work to list individually here
at RPV but it is largely thanks to them that we have a club to be proud of
and these volunteers, combined with the best fans in the league and our
fantastic squad and management team, are the backbone of the club and
without any part of them we are not the same club and
my thanks go out to each and every one of them.
My thanks also, of course, go out to our wonder-
ful sponsors with whose support so much has
been possible and I encourage you to sup-
port them, in turn, when and where you
                                           can.
                                                              continued ...
                                                                                     continued...
