Keep in mind that, you have a few seconds to make an impression on every attendee as they
approach your booth. Use this time wisely to slow them down and initiate a discussion. You stand a
better chance of “connecting” if you engage them and discuss their needs.

STAND UP AND BE RECOGNIZED: Always remember to stand up and greet attendees. We strongly recom-

mend a folding director’s chair (stool height) or a stool to raise you to eye level, placed at front of booth.
Show consumers that you want their business. If you sit back expecting them to come to you, you’ll appear
disinterested and you’re efforts will NOT be productive (no leads).

Experiment with different opening lines and gauge which are most effective. Some basic
examples are: “What brings you here today?” For a product, “Would you like to see how this works?”

Be sure your booth clearly displays your company name, the products and services you provide
and lists any show specials or discounts you’re offering. Motion and “eye catching” displays attract
attention. Use interactive displays to involve and engage attendees. Signs and product samples, where appli-
cable, will do the most to represent your company.

Products/Services: Offer a show special to entice immediate purchase, and include a coupon for
future purchasing. Locate specialty products to sell on site that are hard to find at retail outlets.

Payments: Have a Square or other form of credit card acceptance, not everyone brings cash. This makes sure
         you never miss a sale.

Donations & Coupons: Remember to distribute coupons leading up to the week of the show.

Rescues earn $3 and the customer saves $1. This is an easy way for an automatic donation, that the consum-
er loves! Distribute at local stores, vets, schools, etc..

Rescues Always Ask About Volunteering: Not every family can always adopt, but several are looking to vol-
unteer their time in the coming days-months-years. Put up a sign and show that you’re open to volunteerism.
Then bring a form to complete on site to find out skillsets and availability.

Extra hands help lighten future loads. :)
