13. ALLEGATIONS OF BLACKMAIL 20
In the recent Zoom meeting, Marina implied that MJC was asking her to blackmail Mr
Solheim into a settlement. To say that he is still infuriated over such nonsense would be an
understatement. However, MJC forgives her providing she forgives him for now saying that
she should get a better grip over the detail of this case. The devil is in the detail.

Also, Marina might want to read the papers and see how hard MJC tried – mostly under
legal advice - to encourage Mr Solheim to tell the truth by giving him early notice of what
could happen if he persists with his false claim. HFC set out their views in their letter to DH
on 8 June 2020 (Bates 271). It is not blackmail but sensible advice!! Let’s hope he accepts it.
