เงื่อนไข : ใช้เฉพาะผู้ป่วยโรคเบาหวานชนิดที่ 1 ที่ใช้ multiple daily insulin injections สูตรที่ฉีด NPH insulin ก่อนนอน แล้วมีภาวะน้ าตาลต่ าในเลือดอย่าง
รุนแรง หรือน้ าตาลต่ าในเลือดช่วงกลางคืน (nocturnal hypoglycemia) บ่อยครั้ง จนรบกวนการด าเนินชีวิตตามปกติ
