FREE VIRTUAL HEALTH SERIES FOR KIDS

Free 6-week virtual program for kids in grades Kindergarten – 5th grade that teaches children how and why to choose healthy foods and be physically active.
Healthy Schools, Healthy CommunitiesTM (HSHCTM) is an educational program that teaches children how and why to make healthy choices. It will provide students with education on how to eat better and increase their daily physical activity. Healthy behaviors will be learned by completing interactive activities and nutrition-themed physical activity breaks. Lessons will also include Fit Bits, which are physical activity breaks to get children moving. The program aims promote healthy behaviors throughout the community.

Early Literacy Program for children Birth to Aged 3

Designed for young children that enjoy using their voices and their bodies to follow a great story!
This program uses various early literacy databases and musical/ action stories and media for programming including Storyline Online, TumbleBooks, Starfall, World Book of Early Learning, Hoopla, Overdrive, and digital images of early literacy books. Story times start out with “Stretch’ and ‘Wiggle’ Tumblebooks, and include musical videos of “Down by the Sea,’ ‘She’ll Be Coming Around the Mountain,’ ‘Aiken Drum’ or other musical videos, staggering songs, action rhymes, and books.
