Real ID License – The REAL ID Act is a federal
law passed by Congress resulting from the 9/11

specific federal requirements for state-issued
driver licenses, permits and ID cards to be ac-
ceptable for certain federal purposes. Beginning
October 1, 2020, every air traveler flying within
the United States will need to present a REAL ID
or an Enhanced Driver License, or bring another
acceptable form of identification, determined by
the federal government, to get through security at
U.S. airports. To get a REAL ID, you will need to go
to a DMV Office.
