The Applied Math Program:

Intense and Practical
You’ll learn the fundamentals of both modern and
classical math — from calculus and complex variables
to matrix and control theory — all essential for your work
outside of the classroom. As early as your first year, you
can concentrate in one of four areas:
If you choose Applied and Computational Math, you’ll
take courses in advanced math, but you’ll also take a
sequence of classes in either mechanical, industrial, or
electrical engineering, or computer science or physics.
