Easley has employed a full-time mental health counselor who is on-site every day and a behavioral health counselor who comes in one day
a week to assist students. “The need is much greater,” says Culler, but it’s a start.
In the long run, Culler believes the school is “empowering students to look out for each other and to be better citizens in the future.”
