scheme and are qualified to undertake various mains water

works for local water suppliers.
Engineering
Water storage cisterns (commonly those over 20 years old)
could possibly present a Legionella risk if they are not properly
constructed and do not have secure lids, proper insulation, good
front to back circulation or screened lid vents/overflows.
To comply with Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 and
BS 8558 we offer the following mechanical engineering services:
l Installation of ‘byelaw 30’ kits like screened lid vents,
overflow insect/rodent screens
l Tank lining/painting
l Tank insulation
l Tank lids

l Modification or replacement of hollow PVC lid supports
l Rerouting of pipework to avoid stagnation
l Hot and cold water system disinfection
