Voluntary Life and AD&D
Insurance
You are eligible to purchase voluntary life
and AD&D insurance at competitive group
rates. You may elect up to the guaranteed
issue amount without providing evidence
of insurability. Your individual premium rate
will depend on your age and must be paid
on an after-tax basis. The premium rates
and overall cost to you are available on the
open enrollment website; please pay special
attention to the voluntary life screens.

Naming a Beneficiary

For life and AD&D insurance coverage, you
must name a beneiciary at abm.hrintouch.com.
The beneiciary is the person who will receive
the beneit in the event of your death. If you
name more than one beneiciary, be sure to
indicate the beneit percentage you wish each
beneiciary to receive. The percentages must
add up to 100%. Beneiciaries may be changed
at any time during the year.

Age Reduction

Beginning at age 70, your Basic Life beneit
will be reduced to a percentage of the original
amount, as outlined below:

75 50%
