Prescription Drug Benefits Included Through Drug Beneits
OptumRx

Coverage for prescription drugs is included in both the HRA and HSA
plans through UnitedHealthcare’s prescription drug beneit provider,
called OptumRx. Over 64,000 retail, online, and mail order pharmacies
participate in the OptumRx network. To locate an in-network
pharmacy prior to becoming a member visit www.welcometouhc.com.

What you pay for your prescriptions will depend on which of the two
medical plans you select and what type of prescriptions you need.

UnitedHealthcare uses a tier system for classifying drugs. Tiers are the
different cost levels you pay for a medication. Each tier is assigned a
cost by the health plan. Tier 1 medications are the lowest cost options.
Medications in Tier 2, 3, and 4 are higher priced medications, but your

doctor may be able to prescribe a similar drug in Tier 1.

Participants in the HRA will pay a set copay for drugs from retail

pharmacies ranging from $10 to $90 per prescription, depending on
the drug and the length of the prescription. HSA participants pay the
full discounted price, until the deductible is met. After the deductible,
the member’s responsibility is 20% until the out-of-pocket maximum is
met. Once you’ve satisied your out-of-pocket maximum, Nortek pays
100% of the charges.

Once you enroll in a United Healthcare plan, you’ll be able to ind our
speciics about particular drugs and their categories on the member
site: www.myuhc.com.

Note: Some large retail stores with pharmacies offer special generics
pricing programs (outside of insurance plans) some for as low as $4.
Check out their programs on the retailers’ internet sites.
