Sick Time
„ All FT and PT employees regularly scheduled to work 20+ hours
per week are eligible
„ Must have completed 90 days before accrued time is available
„ If employee’s status moves from ineligible to eligible, employee
will start accruing time at the effective date of the change
„ Unused sick time is NOT paid out at termination
Employee can carry over a max of 160 hours of sick time at year end,
but sick time cannot be paid out in lieu of time taken or donated to
other employees.

Extended Sick Time

„ All FT and PT employees regularly scheduled to work 20+ hours
per week are eligible
„ Must have completed 90 days before accrued extended sick
time is available to the employee
„ If employee’s status moves from ineligible to eligible, employee
will start accruing time at the effective date of the change
„ Begins on the 6th consecutive workday missed due to illness
or injury
„ Employee can carry over a max of 480 hours of extended sick
time at year end, but extended sick time cannot be paid out in
lieu of time taken or donated to other employees
„ Unused extended sick time is NOT paid out at termination
