Dubai attractions: Deira street undergoes a
transformation
The Old Municipal Street project is now complete

It’s official. One of Deira’s oldest streets has undergone a transformation (you will barely
recognise it).
It’s got a new gate, seating arrangements and even lighting.
Work is now complete at the Old Municipal Street in Deira, with a view to it adding to the
tourism appeal of places like Dubai’s Gold Souq and Spice Souk.
