               Competitive prices for one thing. For another, various items and gadgets that will help
               you get Ramadan ready.



               Special products are also on offer for ‘Hag Al Laila’, which falls on the 15th of Sha’ban
               (February 25) the month before Ramadan.



               This year, the Ramadan Souq is going all-out with not just a steady list of things to buy
               but also live entertainment, workshops and activities for the kiddos.



               During the holy month, there are a number of pop-up markets that you can enjoy. One
               of these is the Ramadan District at Plaza Terrace. Located near Jumeirah Emirates
               Towers, it will kick off on Friday March 15 and run until Thursday April 4.



               The Ramadan district will be open daily from 5pm until 2am.



               Every year, Ramadan begins and ends with the appearance of the crescent moon. It is
               based on the lunar calendar, which is shorter than the Gregorian calendar year.
