The Fast Forward Challenge, organised by DHL’s Middle East and Africa Innovation
Center, supports startups at the forefront of logistics and supply chain transformation.
The 2025 edition featured five finalists worldwide, each demonstrating cutting-edge
advancements in automation, robotics, and AI-powered workforce solutions.
Zelostech’s autonomous delivery vehicle stood out among the finalists for its real-world
application and scalability.
The company currently operates a fleet of over 3,000 electric self-driving delivery
vehicles across China and Singapore, accumulating nine million kilometres of Level 4
autonomous driving experience.
With its proven track record, Zelostech is now setting its sights on expanding into the
UAE and the wider GCC region.
Jason Wang, UAE-Country Manager of Zelostech, said, ““It was such an honor to be
among these shortlisted companies who are all pioneers in their specific field.”
“In the end, it was our autonomous delivery solution for urban logistic deliveries that
won and that is already deployed in various cities in China and in Singapore.
A platform for innovation and growth
The Fast Forward Challenge serves as a launchpad for startups driving the next wave of
logistics innovation.
Organised in collaboration with Investopia, PwC Middle East, Dubai South, and AHOY,
the initiative aims to bridge the gap between startups and established industry players,
offering participants mentorship, funding opportunities, and business development
support.
Irina Albanese, Head of Innovation, Middle East & Africa at DHL, emphasised the
competition’s impact, “Congratulations to the winner Zelostech. I am certain they will
make a major difference towards shaping the future of logistics and I am very much
looking forward to our collaboration.”
This year’s competition culminated at the Future 100 Forum during Investopia 2025, an
initiative His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum launched to connect
global investors with emerging opportunities in the UAE’s new economy.
