Aligned with UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al
Nahyan’s declaration of 2025 as the Year of Community, the initiative

honors individuals and organizations that have played a vital role in
funding transformative social projects across the emirate.

Serving as a tribute to collective contributions, plaques will be placed on

various social projects, emphasizing the UAE’s deep-rooted culture of
generosity. By labeling key community-driven projects, Ma’an seeks to

unite individuals, organizations, and communities in addressing social
challenges and driving meaningful change.

The initiative also highlights partner-led efforts, including projects such as
UAE Deaf Association, ADEK Al Ehsan, FDF Barakat Al Dar Social Clubs, and

Food ATM.

His Excellency Abdullah Al Ameri, Director General of Ma’an, stated that,

“The launch of From the Community to the Community, coinciding with the
announcement of 2025 as the Year of Community, reflects our commitment

to fostering shared responsibility and advancing social development.”

HE added that, we are committed to uniting government, private entities,
social enterprises, and non-profits to develop meaningful projects that

tackle key social challenges. This initiative highlights the value of
community involvement and encourages future generations to actively

contribute to society’s progress.

The initiative will showcase Ma’an’s extensive contributions, including

school tuition assistance, the development of dialysis treatment centers, the
creation of facilities for halfway houses, and the establishment of

community parks, underscoring the significant impact of community-driven
initiatives in Abu Dhabi.
