On the occasion of Zayed Humanitarian Day, Her Excellency stated: “Sheikh Zayed devoted his life
to serving humanity. No borders or barriers hindered him from assisting those in need worldwide.
He never discriminated based on race, religion, colour or gender. His humanitarian initiatives and
remarkable stances were globally acknowledged, leaving behind a legacy of generosity and giving
that continues to benefit nations and individuals through several projects and assistance.”

H.E. Al Rumaithi further highlighted that Sheikh Zayed instilled a deeply ingrained culture of giving,
establishing the UAE as a global leader in humanitarian efforts. H.E. added: “This approach has
been carried forward by the wise leadership, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan,
President of the UAE, who continues the path charted by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al
Nahyan in offering local and international humanitarian and relief aid.

His Highness has also made remarkable efforts to support developmental, healthcare and
educational initiatives across the globe, echoing the UAE’s commitment to promoting peace and
enhancing cooperation among nations.”
