learning gains. AI-driven continuous assessment models are particularly effective in tracking
progress over time, identifying learning gaps early and evaluating true pedagogical efficacy.

What EdTech Companies Must Do Differently

For EdTech providers, this shift presents both a challenge and an opportunity.

EdTech companies must design impact into their solutions from the outset. Platforms should be
built around clear learning objectives, not just user engagement, with embedded assessment,

feedback and analytics that track progress over time, rather than simply monitoring activity.

They must also prioritize interoperability. Tools that integrate seamlessly with existing learning

management systems and national education frameworks are far more likely to drive systemic
change. Teacher enablement must be at the center of every offering. Professional development,

instructional guidance and actionable insights for educators are essential if digital tools are to
            influence classroom practice meaningfully.

Finally, equity and ethics are non-negotiable. EdTech companies must evaluate whether their
solutions serve all learners, respect data privacy and support responsible AI use, particularly in
            diverse cultural and curricular contexts.

Way Forward: Unveiling True Educational Efficacy

The ongoing shifts in the EdTech landscape have made it evident that stakeholders must look

beyond screen time and module completion rates. It is also important to ensure seamless
alignment with the learner’s specific cultural and curricular context. In addition, sustained
teacher training and instructional support are key to realizing the true potential of digital learning

            tools.

With EdTech tools acting as powerful enablers, the focus should remain on empowering educators

and supporting learners by creating continuous feedback loops that shape both daily instruction
and national policy. To maximize long-term impact, developers and investors must prioritize the
creation of holistic, interoperable tools, while educators must adopt robust assessment

frameworks that measure longitudinal student growth over extended periods of time.
