Wells Carnival, Wells-next-the-Sea, July 29-August 7

This north Norfolk coastal town’s traditional carnival returns once again – and
features a whole host of family-friendly events. Visitors can enjoy a Carnival
Day procession around the town featuring floats, fancy-dress, pull-and push-
along vehicles and much more. Traditional seaside activities include a sand-
castle competition, town crier competition, gillying on the quay, and the
crowning of the Carnival Royals.

The Suffolk Military Show, Ipswich, July 30-31

This family-friendly two-day event at Trinity Park will showcase the very finest
selection of static military vehicles, living history re-enactment, arena live stage
entertainment, military stalls, and food stalls.

Magic of Thailand Festival, Eaton Park, July 30-31

Established 10 years ago, this travelling festival brings a touch of the East to
the region, and will feature a variety of Thai food, arts and crafts, traditional
Thai dances, Muay Thai demonstrations, Thai massage, a Thai beer garden,
and much more.
