the Liverpool city region hospitality sector going in what has been a tough trading
environment.
Since early 2020 the sector, a vital part of the city region’s £5bn visitor economy, has
been hit by the double whammy of COVID and now soaring energy costs.
Recruitment is also a major challenge.
These awards, which will take place at the Titanic Hotel, offer an opportunity for
individuals in the industry to come together to celebrate the hard work of their
teams in front of their peers and hospitality experts.
They will also be raising money for Hospitality Acton which offers assistance, advice
and support to all those who work in hospitality.
Steven Hesketh, vice-chair of Liverpool Hospitality, said: “After an unprecedented
period of challenges in the hospitality industry over the past couple of years, it’s
incredible to see how the industry has fought back.
