Europe. We were also delighted to see new national
portfolio organisation Liverpool Lighthouse’s ‘Lighthouse
Choir’ and ‘Love & Joy Gospel Choir’ feature
on Eurovision Welcomes the World on the BBC.
• We have invested in EuroFestival running until 14 May,
focusing on contemporary and classical music activity
including Welcome to Eurotopia - a ‘Supergroup’
collaboration between Ukrainian creatives and Liverpool
musicians in a post-song contest moment – and a free
performance of English National Opera does Eurovision.
This unique celebration allows Liverpool residents and
visitors to share in the Eurovision celebrations as
reimagined by UK and Ukrainian artists.
• A series of post-Festival legacy projects will also extend
the impact and will support continued international
collaboration to build on Liverpool’s status as a UNESCO
Music City.
• We’re also pleased to have supported dot-art’s
collaboration with one of our national portfolio
organisations Open Eye Gallery, to curate HOME, the UK’s
largest exhibition of Ukrainian photography developed
with 49 partners at 44 sites across Liverpool.

combined talents of artists, creatives and musicians from the
UK and Ukraine will make both EuroFestival and this year’s
Eurovision one to remember.”
