               Reshaping Indie-Rock For Our


               Disturbing Times

               A much needed fresh approach for guitar music is happening in the UK right now, freed from
               any hit single expectations and conventional genre limitations. With the furious energy of
               their debut album "For The First Time" the seven-piece from London is leading this new
               movement with stubborn determination. NBHAP author Tamsin Paternoster spoke with the
               band and took a closer look at the Black Country, New Road microcosm.

               In a time when … well, time itself appears to be quite relative something so irrelevant
               as the word ‘hype’ seems to be out of place. Are we still living in a world where
               hypes in music still exist or do they belong in a glorified past where music media was
               still an opinion leader position, musical tates were more separated from each other
               and the internet didn’t play such a significant role? Some of the older ones will still
