It also looks like lots of chrome trim was removed
from the vehicle, but that’s not the case. Corvairs
did not have a lot of chrome trim so what you see
are pop rivets that were added by Bob and his team
to simulate the rivets that hold together a copper
boiler. Plus, they break up the great fl at expanses of
the side panels.
