                                                              Chris Lee has always had an affi nity for cars. His
                                                              love for cars and learning how to work on them stems
                                                              back to when he was little when his grandpa would
                                                              bring him out to the garage to help. When Chris got
                                                              his learners permit and a job, he started to make some
                                                              cash to play with his new-found freedom; his wheels.
                                                              He grew up in the 90’s when the import car scene was
                                                              starting to fl ourish, and he pushed to learn to customize
                                                              and tinker on Hondas, mainly doing side work at the
                                                              muffl er shop he was employed at. As the scene became
                                                              less about building the cars and more about bolting
                                                              parts on, Chris took a step away. “I have too much love
                                                              for actually building cars, not just bolting on parts. Hot
                                                              rodding is pure for me.”
                                                                 As it does for all of us, life went on for Chris.
                                                              Between working in construction, getting married and
                                                              having a family, Chris wanted something to call his own
                                                              again. Something where his passion for cars and his
                                                              love for fabrication could all come into play. Introducing:
                                                              Blasfamous 1JZ. The name stemming from the rather
                                                              stunning centerpiece of a power plant, Chris built his
                                                              1949 Ford F3 around the Toyota motor. Pairing it with
                                                              a Nissan 350Z transmission, seats from a FB RX7, seat
                                                              belts from a BMW E30 it’s obvious that his import past
