On our return trip we
stopped by Carhenge
for a sunrise excursion.
It’s a cool place!

The event coincided with the city’s
own music in the park offering, which
made for a very eclectic collection of
artists, performers, vendors, and of course
vehicles. Held in a beautiful park, there
was plenty of natural shade and a nicely
laid out tent area as well.
An impressive array of everything from
rat rods to beautifully fi nished kustoms
lined the park and made for a really nice
spread of colors and styles. A family-
friendly environment with a really positive,
laid-back vibe was frosting on the cake.
