Saturday morning arrived with a one-two punch of heat and
humidity, as well as a downpour of rat rods. And what an eclectic
assortment. Traditional, pre-war, post-war, duallys… trucks with
tails, scratchbuilt bodies, Comets, Cadillacs and on and on. There
was something for everybody, as there were other lots fi lled with
motorcycles, hotrods, and muscle cars. And if that weren’t enough,
we were treated to one of the best fl amethrower exhibitions we’ve
ever seen. Many thanks to our hosts at the Hawg Pit, who did an
outstanding job of keeping everybody fed, hydrated, entertained,
and under control. Thanks also to Donnewald Distributing (beer!)
and Sparks Speed Shop for helping make this event a success.
