An indoor event in early April might not sound that
appealing to most, but the ones that brave the frigid
temps of Da Nort more months than not love this
                 kinda stuff!
It was my 2nd year attending (my 1st being able
to fully walk the show) and how awesome it was.
Although working for the magazine I’m partial for the
                 unfinished, in-progress, and retro builds, I couldn’t
believe the sights of the things taking the motorcycle
world by storm. Ingenious creations sporting anywhere
from 15” to 30” front wheels – not to mention chromed
anything you could think of - were displayed with
stunning candy paint jobs and exquisite hand-tooled
leather. One even had a small block Chevy engine.
Young and old alike stared and dreamed about what
was in front of them. I caught myself having to wipe
drool off multiple times over the 2 days of the show.
This is very heavily a “bike first” kinda show, but the
four wheel wonders found upstairs brought the heat.
Rat rods and hot rods sprawled across the floor. Event-
goers of all kinds walked around with smiles on their
faces. This show is a monster and continues to
grow substantially. No better place to be in
                 Minnesota in April.
