here is no doubt that reader rides are the heart of this
magazine. i’ve said many times that this entire magazine is
a collection of reader rides… and i believe that. it’s a great
T feeling to publish a magazine that truly is dedicated to the
average Joe and all the talented builders out there getting their
nothing makes me and this staff happier than sharing the work of
Smegal Brothers hands dirty – for nothing more than the satisfaction of doing it.
over the past year we have been absolutely inundated

means there are a lot of cool rides being built and driven all
over the world. the drawback is that we can’t possibly answer
or even open every email or envelope. (there are over 25,000
emails sitting in my inbox at this moment) if your email or

submission is one of these, please don’t be discouraged. We

didn’t open it up, laugh at your ride, and not respond. t rust
me when i tell you we are not here to judge – just to share
what you’re all doing out there in rat rod land. if we didn’t
get to your email, it’s not because we don’t like your ride – i
promise. We’re doing our best to share as many submissions
as we can… but the fact of the matter is we’ve been over-run Matt’s 53 Ford
your stuff, and we’ll keep pumping ‘em out. rat on!
