ith cooler weather approaching, it makes sense to start thinking about cozy ways to spruce up your home.
Perhaps you’ve experimented with a little fall DIY project in the past, or maybe this is the year you’ve
Wdecided to put your design and creativity to the test. Regardless of your motivation, there are plenty of
ideas for every part of your home. From incorporating more texture and sustainable materials, to emulating fall
foliage, we’ve outlined some of the upcoming fall trends you can implement below!
Natural hues with a pop of colour

Fall is so often associated with rich and earthy tones—think burnt orange, deep chocolate brown, muted greens,
camel, and mustard yellow. This fall, in addition to the expected warm and calming colour palette, there’s an extra
pop of colour you’ll notice online and in stores.

Farrow & Ball have conjured up Colours of the Year that add a touch of brightness, wellbeing, and hopeful optimism.

Cozy curves and round edges
Design influencer Jane At Home suggests the departure
from straight lines and hard edges will continue to fade
away in fall 2022, with softer lines and more sculptural looks
creating a restorative space right from within our homes.
Architectural Digest also notes cozier and curvier furniture
is making a comeback. Contemporary and on-trend,
rounded-edged furniture is not only reflective of comfort, it
also has a fun and feel-good factor to it. What’s more is these
curves can be replicated all around the house!

Most furniture stores—both high-end and budget-
friendly—will carry circular accent tables, rounded mirrors, curved armchairs, and sofas. Why not try a circular
arrangement by assembling your living room furniture loosely around a central point like a round coffee table? When
the work day is done, it’s the perfect way to create an ideal setup for lounging and conversations.
