12 SELF IMAGE MASTERY ACTION GUIDE
One final encouragement before we begin this exciting journey together:
Your best thinking has got you where you are today. If you are going to get different, better results in the future, you will need to upgrade your best thinking to better thinking.
In order to do this, you will need to let go of some of your old ideas and cherished opinions and embrace some new ideas. This is typically an uncomfortable process for most people. Don’t let this put you off.
Try to avoid the temptation to engage critically with any new ideas that you are not familiar with. They may well be in conflict with some of your existing ideas. If you allow your existing thinking to set about trying to prove that these new ideas won’t work, you will be successful, and you will be successful by remaining exactly where you are right now.
You can’t actually disprove the ideas in the book and in this program with logic BUT you can prove them with experience.
Make up your mind now to practice, experiment and experience this program.
A better question to ask is not ‘is this idea right or wrong based on what I know about the world so far? but rather, ‘will this idea move me in the direction of my goals?’ And if it will, keep an open mind, at least until the end of the program.
Remember that you are wonderfully made, a perfectly imperfect human being, just trying to do your best. Each day remind yourself to be kind to yourself. Allow yourself to trust the process and to enjoy the journey. There is not actually any rush.
