The truth is, when you are speaking from the platform, sales success is not a black art that is beyond the reach of most people. It is absolutely a learnable skill and a teachable skill. Influence is all about structure. Þ Finding someone who has that problem
Þ Getting agreement that they have that problem
Þ Providing your solution at a competitive investment
Þ Resolving any questions they might have
Þ Overcoming any objections or misconceptions
Þ Reassuring them that you are an integrous person
Þ Reassuring them that you are a nice person to do business with Þ Showing them other people who have had success with you
If we can take a prospect through this process, there is a good chance that a reasonable percentage will step forward and use your services because it makes sense to them.
The key advantage to using speaking to take them through this process is that you can take 10 or 50 or 500 or more people through the process all at the same time! This is a very efficient way to market and close your services. And if you can provide great value to those who are not quite ready at the same time then EVERYBODY wins.
