KILLER OFFERS
“It’s a killer offer when they feel like they’re robbing you!”
People do not suddenly step out and do something different without some kind of unusual motivation. There needs to be a significant stimulus to move them out of their habitual ways of living. A killer offer needs to be such a no brainer that it a creates a feeling of ‘why on earth would I not do this!’. It needs to be great value and there needs to be a real urgency to act now. The urgency is created through some kind of limitation or scarcity. The offer expires and is no longer available or the investment goes up over time or perhaps there is a limit on the number of spaces available.
If there is no compelling reason to act immediately then we would all normally prefer to go away and consider it. This actually serves no one. When people leave to think it over they quickly go back to their old habitual ways of thinking and feeling and doing. Life will get in the way and the value of all your work to bring them to the point of considering a new reality rapidly diminishes. The same truth applies to all of us, if we are going to change, the time is now .. right now.
The offer is critical to your success. Get it right and there could be big rewards. Get it wrong and they will go home to think about it.
The second principle in the system is begin with the end in mind. You cannot craft your presentation if you do not know what offer you are trying to create a hunger for. So one of the first things you need to decide, is what is it you want to do with your time. Because when you are successful at selling from the platform, you then need to deliver the programs you sell. So you are trading your life for what you sell.
